Add Reloop to [Cursor](https://cursor.com) so the agent can send test emails, look up contacts, check domains, and manage templates while you build.

## Prerequisites

- Cursor installed
- A [Reloop account](https://reloop.sh/dashboard)
- A [verified domain](https://reloop.sh/dashboard/domain) if you want to send email

## Setup

<Steps>
  <Step title="Add the server">
The quickest way is the **Add to Cursor** button on the [Cursor page in your dashboard](https://reloop.sh/dashboard/integrations/mcp/cursor). It opens Cursor with Reloop filled in.

Or add this to `.cursor/mcp.json` in your project. Use `~/.cursor/mcp.json` to make it available in every project.

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "reloop": {
      "url": "https://reloop.sh/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```
  </Step>
  <Step title="Sign in">
Open **Cursor Settings → MCP & Integrations** and click **Connect** next to **reloop**. Your browser opens the Reloop sign-in page. Sign in, choose the organization Cursor can access, and approve.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Verify it works

In **Cursor Settings → MCP & Integrations**, reloop shows a green status dot and lists its tools. Then ask the agent something read-only:

> "List my Reloop domains and tell me which ones are verified."

## Example prompts

- "Send a test email to me@example.com with the HTML from emails/welcome.html."
- "Create a webhook that notifies https://example.com/hooks/reloop when an email bounces."
- "Verify my domain and check the DNS configuration status."

See [more example prompts](/docs/integrations/ai-tools/mcp-prompts).

## Troubleshooting

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="reloop shows an error or keeps asking me to connect">
    In **Cursor Settings → MCP & Integrations**, turn reloop off and on, then click **Connect**. If that doesn't help, remove the server, add it again, and sign in.
  </Accordion>
  <Accordion title="Tools act on the wrong organization">
    Sign in again and pick the right organization on the consent screen, or pin one with a header:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "reloop": {
      "url": "https://reloop.sh/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "x-organization-id": "YOUR_ORGANIZATION_ID"
      }
    }
  }
}
```
  </Accordion>
  <Accordion title="The agent doesn't use Reloop">
    Check that reloop is turned on in settings, and mention Reloop in your prompt.
  </Accordion>
  <Accordion title="I'd rather use an API key">
    Use the [local server](/docs/integrations/ai-tools/mcp-server#local-server-stdio) with `npx -y reloop-mcp` and `RELOOP_API_KEY`.
