## FAQ

### Can I use Reloop as an SMTP relay for WordPress?

Yes. Install any SMTP plugin and set host smtp.reloop.sh, port 587, TLS/STARTTLS, and your Reloop API key as both the username and password. The From address must be on a domain you've verified in Reloop.

### Which ports does Reloop's SMTP relay support?

Port 587 with STARTTLS. Implicit TLS on 465 isn't supported, so leave "SSL" or secure: true off. If your network blocks 587, SMTP2GO's alternate ports are an advantage; with Reloop, send over the HTTPS API instead.

### Is Reloop cheaper than SMTP2GO?

At 10,000 emails they're the same ($10). Above that Reloop is cheaper: $10 vs about $50 at 50k, and $20 vs $75 at 100k. Below 6,000 a month Reloop's free tier covers you if you stay under 200 a day.

### Does SMTP2GO offer a dedicated IP?

Yes, on the Professional plan ($75 a month for 100,000 emails) and above. Reloop includes one on Growth ($20 a month for 100,000 emails).

### Can I self-host Reloop as my own SMTP relay?

Yes. Reloop is Apache 2.0 and includes the SMTP relay. Run it on your own server and point your apps at your own SMTP host. You'll own IP reputation and warm-up, so most teams start hosted.
