## FAQ

### Is Reloop cheaper than Mailjet?

Above the free tier, yes. At 50,000 emails a month Reloop is $10, while Mailjet is $40 on Essential or $59 on Premium. At 100,000 it's $20 vs $112 on Premium. Below 6,000 a month, both free tiers cost nothing.

### Did Mailjet raise its prices in 2026?

Yes. Mailjet updated Essential and Premium prices on September 9, 2026, its first change in two years. Starter stayed at $9. Annual billing still gets 10% off.

### Can I keep my Mailjet templates?

Yes. Export the HTML and change the variables from {{var:name}} to {{{name}}}. If you'd rather keep templates in code, you can also send React Email components through the SDK.

### Does Mailjet support inbound email?

Yes, through the Parse API, which posts each incoming message to your webhook. Reloop stores incoming mail in threaded mailboxes you can read and reply to over the API, MCP or IMAP.

### Can I self-host Mailjet?

No. Mailjet is a hosted service. Reloop is open source under Apache 2.0 and runs on your own server with the same API.
