## FAQ

### Is Reloop cheaper than MailerSend?

Yes, at every paid volume we compared. 50,000 emails a month is $10 on Reloop and $35 on MailerSend Starter; 100,000 is $20 vs $68. Reloop's free tier is also larger: 6,000 emails a month vs 500.

### Does MailerSend have a free plan?

Yes. It includes 500 emails a month, 1 domain, 1 template, 1 webhook and 100 API requests a day. Paid plans start with Hobby at $7 a month for 5,000 emails.

### Can I keep my MailerSend templates?

The HTML moves over as-is. Change {{variable}} placeholders to {{{variable}}}, save the template in Reloop, and send it by ID.

### Does MailerSend support self-hosting?

No. MailerSend is hosted-only. Reloop can run on your own server under the Apache 2.0 license.

### Which is better for receiving email?

MailerSend forwards parsed inbound mail to a webhook or address and counts each forward against your quota. Reloop stores it in threaded mailboxes you can read and reply to over the API, MCP or IMAP, which suits support inboxes and AI agents.
