## FAQ

### Is Reloop cheaper than Lettermint?

For most volumes, yes. At 50,000 emails a month Reloop is $10 and Lettermint is €40 on Starter. Reloop's free tier is also bigger: 6,000 a month vs 300. Around a million emails a month the two get close, so price your real volume.

### Where does Lettermint store data?

In the EU. Its sub-processor list names UpCloud in the Netherlands for hosting and OVHcloud in Germany for encrypted backups. Lettermint B.V. is a Dutch company, and its DPA is governed by Dutch law.

### Does Reloop have an EU region?

Yes. Reloop Cloud runs on Hetzner, with EU data centers. It comes with a DPA based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and a public sub-processor list. If you want full control over where data lives, you can also self-host Reloop on your own EU server; it's the same open-source code.

### Does Lettermint support inbound email?

Yes, on Starter and up. It parses incoming mail and posts it to your endpoint as a signed webhook. Reloop stores incoming mail in threaded mailboxes you can read and reply to over the API, MCP or IMAP.

### Can Lettermint send newsletters?

Yes, through a separate broadcast route with its own sending infrastructure and automatic unsubscribe handling. You manage the list and content yourself. Reloop also has contacts, campaigns and automations.

### Can I self-host Lettermint?

No. Lettermint is a hosted service; only its SDKs are open source. Reloop is open source under Apache 2.0 and runs on your own server with the same API.
